Event Space Policies
The Ballroom on Baum offers on-site parking in our private gated lot for a small fee. Other parking options include on-street parking.
Deposits and Payment: A 15% non-refundable deposit is due upon execution of the agreement in order to secure the space for the event. Bar package selection and final guest count is due two weeks prior to the event. A final invoice will be sent during that time. Additional installment payments may be made over time, payment in full is due no later than two weeks prior to the event. Final payment shall be adjusted to include sales tax, beverage package, fees and any additions, changes, incidentals or alterations to services provided.
Periodic payments may be made by cash, check, credit card or certified check. If paying by a credit card, a signed credit card authorization form is due at time deposit is made.
Service Charges and Taxes: a 20% service charge and 7% tax fee will be added to the final invoice.
Cancellation: In the event of a cancellation many may be owed as outlined below:

Vendors and Catering: The Ballroom on Baum works with 5 preferred caterers that we require you to use for your event. The use of any other vendor will result in an additional outside catering fee.
Alcohol Service: All beverages including liquor consumed must be purchased from, provided and served by the Ballroom on Baum. Bar service must end 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.
Security: Any fraternal or college related function where alcohol is served must have security on site provided through the hotel or separately with proof in writing.
